Peter Andrews’ review of Morwood’s book – A New Human » Homo floresiensis skeleton from Liang Bua
This near-complete skeleton, recovered during the archaeological excavation of Liang Bua cave on the Indonesian island of Flores in September 2003, is believed to be that of a small-bodied, small-brained adult female who lived about 18,000 years ago and may represent a distinct hominin species.
