The proof of evolution does in no way discount the presence of a God. This issue, like politics, tends to get people to be pigeon holed into one camp or the other. I realized this point while reading Steven Hawkings book “History of the Universe in a Nutshell”. He pointed out that the evolution of the universe does not mean that God himself didn’t start the Big Bang….. It’s comforting to believe this.
