No problem. I am waiting for him to "accept me as a friend" so I can report for violation of TOS.

FreeToThink,

Try this link, you must be signed into Facebook to view the profile's landing page, request to be his friend, and report the fake profile.

And Stephen, thanks for letting me know about the group. It seems like slimeball Sebastian Schkudlara is focusing on growing the group rather than Albert's profile. I hope people who join this group know this is all fake.

On that note, Afarensis has done more gumshoe work and revealed a source of inspiration for the John Marlowe character. Also, this blog post is on the 1st page of results for anyone searching 'Palabea' on Google. Other similar search strings, like Albert CyberChimp, has similar results. Word is slowly getting out.

I appreciate your efforts in helping out. Palabea shoulda used a real platform to spread their site, rather than tricking their users into thinking they are speaking to a chimp that uses the internet to social network. I find it pretty despicable to build community and a user base on lies.

There is an "Albert Cyberchimp" profile still up at the link provided.

I haven't made a friend request, but I did join the group "1,000,000 million friends for Albert the cyberchimp". Left a short message referring readers to the primatology.net post.
