Gobero is in Niger, not Nigeria.
Gobero comes from the word Gobir, which poeple are called the Gobirawa. Hundreds of years back the leaved in the Air Mountains around Mt Bagazam. They leaved there with the Tuaregs, whith whom they wages wars. They moved south looking for greener space. Their decendents today can be found from Agadez clear to the region of Maradi, Tawa, Konni, as far as Nigeria. They belong to the seven hausa tribes.
