Site H6 – Ancient Lake bed

6-8000 year old Kiffian pottery with telltale wavy pattern (right) next to the less aesthetic 4-6000 year old Tenere pottery (left)

Found on the the muddy bottom of a huge shallow lake, the team swept the 30 by 30 meter surface looking for artifacts and fauna, which included arrowheads, small and large catfish bones, crocodile dung and harpoons found in situ.
