I just watched the worst National Geographic documentary on Berger's Palau skulls, and what a piece of documentary rubbish from the NG channel. I'm not even an archeologist and even I could tell there was absolutely little scientific evidence for the film's exclamations of a new race. No other scientists were interviewed supporting Berger's finds. And it must have been filmed by the same people who made Palau Survivor it was a joke. Probably used the same make-up and hair team too. I mean, whats with the white paint on the natives? And the caveman antics? What a joke and an insult to the Palau people. Even me, an ordinary person, could tell in the first five minutes that the idiot had actually wandered into a grave site. Duh! I didn't need a PhD or an award from NG to figure that out. I can't believe NG did a documentary on his bullshit. And then they even gave him a National Geographic award! Omigod, somebody's lost the plot he's somebody's bofriend on the sly. What, he discovered the cave in 2006, and its nearly 4 years later, no other news havebothered to cover his new Palau pygmy race. How the hell did Berger get a degree in the first place?

It will be very interesting to get some age and cranial capacity estimates from the calcified skulls mentioned by Berger et al. I definitely hear what Fitzpatrick et al. are saying, but this would certainly take a turn for the interesting if Berger fire back with some heavy cranial dwarfing.
