Vote for me at the 2007 Blogging Scholarships

I’m happy to announce that I, Kambiz Kamrani, am one of the 20 finalist in the 2007 Blogging Scholarships. I really need your votes to help me win the scholarship.

For those not in the know, last year the Daniel Kovach Scholarship Foundation, a non-profit organization, started the first ever blogging scholarship. I was a finalist then. This year, the scholarship is going by a different name and upped the anty to a $10,000 scholarship. The competition is very strong, in fact I’m competing with 20 excellent bloggers. In order for me to win this year’s scholarship, I need you to hop on over to this page and cast your vote for me, Kambiz Kamrani by October 28th, 2007!

I understand that whole logic behind having people vote for a scholarship is kinda flawed. Why? Rather than grant out scholarship on basis of merit, the scholarship ends up being a competition based on popularity. But that’s the way it is run, and I can’t change it. Don’t take it the wrong way, I’m already very grateful to have your readership. But if you wanna help fund my education, all it will take is a simple click to cast your vote.

  1. Kambiz, just dropping by to share words of encouragement. Blogging isn’t suppose to be a competition, it’s simply an outlet for your intellectual and creative expression. Just being on the top 20 list is a pretty neat honor already :)
