Stone Tools in South African Caves Illuminate Prehistoric Social Networks

Perched on the rugged cliffs of South Africa's southern coast, Knysna Eastern Heads Cave 1 (KEH-1) has offered archaeologists a trove of insights into human life during the waning years of the last Ice Age. Recent excavations have unearthed thousands of stone tools, shedding light on the technological ingenuity and social interactions of prehistoric communities.​
